An Easter Fest Partnership

This was so much fun!  We partnered with Cloverland Park for this event.   Eternal Gems, Inc. provided books, coloring books, novelty bubbles and other give-a-ways to community residents.  The youth were required to read out of any book or the bible for novelty bubbles or other gifts through a megaphone so others in the park could hear.  They were asked personal, social and inspirational questions to encourage positive youth development.  “Bubbles 4 Bible Verses!”  “Bubbles 4 Bible Verses!”  We chanted as other youth blew bubbles in the air!

One day as I was talking to God, I said “How do you tell people about Jesus Christ quickly?  Lord, it takes time to share of His former life in heaven, miraculous conception, birth, sinless life, crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension.  It takes time, Lord and people attention span is so short.”

At this event, there was a raffle.  Ticket holders had to be present.  Big prizes and bicycles were to be given away.  The Gospel of Jesus Christ was taught as the citizens sat patiently waiting for the raffle prizes. I said to myself,  “Why are all these parents and children sitting still and being so mannerable with all of these activities going on?  The people were sitting in front of a stage as Christian performers entertained them.  The Gospel of Jesus Christ was taught and at the end of the stage program, the raffle began and the big prizes were given away.  So, that’s how you do it.  Take the proper time to tell the Good News and then it’s raffle time!  It was estimated at least 700 were in attendance.
